ABOUT
My name is Nicole and I think it is safe to say that I am a fitness addict. I have been engaged in sports and fitness for as long as I can remember. I played a variety of team sports growing up and moved to the US to play division I field hockey during college. This is where the real fitness journey began. The shift from pure endurance training to a combination of strength & conditioning paired with proper nutrition. The importance of strength training became more and more obvious through my own experience and my studies in the field. I received my bachelors degree in Exercise Biology (physiology) and became more interested in learning what the human body is capable of and how to treat the body to reach an optimal level of performance. I combine the science-based approach to training, nutrition and lifestyle with my personal experience. Whether this is in strength training, endurance sports, or just your everyday life. Helping people become a healthier, stronger version of themselves is what I am truly passionate about. Seeing what a difference it can make both mentally and physically is extremely motivating and is my main reason for pursuing this passion.
Being fit, in my opinion, means being able to engage in all sorts of activities, feeling good, eating well, sleeping well. It is not just about being strong or being a good endurance athlete, but incorporating a combination of strength and endurance training while also working on mobility and explosiveness. This is how I approach my training sessions. I design a training program that addresses your needs, depending on your background, your history in sports and in life (overall health, injuries, pregnancy, etc), your interests, goals and your time commitment. During our sessions I will ask you about your habits, your diet, family life, sleep and other important aspects of life that impact your health and fitness to ensure we find the best way to achieve your goals, together. We will keep each other accountable, because we are in this together!
